Building a world of awareness, acceptance, inclusion and for every ability.
The Marvelous Meghan Foundation
Who We Are
The Lewuh Marvelous Meghan Foundation, founded by Seti Ouelega in partner with mother Sylvie Nguena and little sister Neeyo Ouelega, is a nonprofit born out of love, faith, and a deep commitment to creating opportunities for people with disabilities. Inspired by our sister and daughter, Meghan, who was diagnosed with profound autism at the age of four, our family came together to honor her journey by building a foundation that champions dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunity for every individual.
What began as a small family initiative has grown into a movement rooted in compassion, resilience, and the belief that no individual should be excluded from education or community life because of disability.
As a family, we understand the challenges that come with disability, and we also know the power of unconditional support. That is why we work together to provide educational resources, raise awareness, and open doors for children and families—locally in our community and internationally.
The Lewuh Marvelous Meghan Foundation is more than an organization; it is our family’s promise to carry forward Meghan’s legacy of strength, joy, and possibility so that every individual, regardless of ability, can learn, dream, and thrive.
"Disability is not a brave struggle, and not a sign of weakness. It’s an opportunity for the strongest people."
– Anne Wafula Strike

What We Do
01.
— We Find & Fund
We’ve identified children with disabilities in Africa whose families cannot afford school fees and provided the funding needed to cover tuition and basic educational supplies. Through campaigns like our most recent, Adopt a Backpack, we ensure that every child has the chance to learn and thrive.
02.
— We Build Networks
We connect families, schools, and community leaders to create strong support systems for children with disabilities. By collaborating across borders, we build bridges that expand opportunities both locally and internationally.
04.
— We Educate
Through our children’s book Marvelous Meghan: Our Big Sister, we visit elementary schools and community centers to spark conversations about acceptance, inclusion and disability awareness. We also use social media platforms to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and educate the public about developmental disabilities.
03.
— We Strengthen
We strengthen communities by sharing our family’s journey with disability and autism, inspiring resilience and inclusion. Whether through online storytelling or grassroots initiatives, we encourage families to embrace hope and advocate for lasting change.
